Daughterboard
rodeo-midi
VerifiedMIDI leaves the motherboard in Rev B and becomes two jacks on the rear rail. The active parts stay behind — the optocoupler, its resistor and diode, and the output resistors all remain on the motherboard — so this board carries the jacks, one connector and ESD protection on the output, and nothing else.
- jacks
- 2 × 3.5 mm TRS Type A, in and out
- to the motherboard
- JST SH 5-pin, pin for pin with J6
- active parts
- none — optocoupler stays on the motherboard
Notes, control changes and SysEx all came back in order through a TRS loop on 2026-10-29.

Rodeo goes to Kickstarter in January 2027. The waitlist hears first, and day-one backers are planned to get an early-bird price. One email to confirm, then nothing until there is news.
