Satellite

rodeo-encoder-bank-4

Verified

The second satellite, deliberately the same shape as the first so the two line up on one panel with their knobs at the same height. The four push switches share a single analog pin through a resistor ladder, because the microcontroller runs out of pins before it runs out of capability — the kind of trade that keeps a satellite under the cost that makes the chain worth having.

It works. All four encoders turned both ways and pressed, the resistor ladder reading every switch, in a two-satellite ring with the pot bank at 250 scans a second.
